Albert Wu and his team help people approaching retirement make confident decisions about the money they’ve spent decades building.
As the founder of Vocare Wealth Advisors, Albert works with pre-retirees who are navigating some of the most important—and often irreversible—financial decisions of their lives: when to retire, how to create sustainable income, how to reduce taxes, how healthcare fits in, and how to protect their family and legacy. His focus is not just on investments, but on creating clear, coordinated retirement plans that remove uncertainty and align money with what matters most.
As a fiduciary and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Albert believes retirement should be entered with purpose and clarity—not guesswork. Every client relationship begins with understanding the client’s goals, concerns, and values, then building thoughtful strategies around retirement income, cash flow, tax planning, healthcare decisions, and estate considerations. Albert is known for helping clients see trade-offs clearly and for developing creative solutions to complex retirement challenges.
Albert is also deeply committed to service. He serves on the board of Friends of Fairfax County Animal Shelter and as a Trustee for ServiceSource Foundation, an organization where 99 cents of every dollar directly supports individuals with disabilities and their families.
Outside of work, Albert lives in Oakton, Virginia with his wife, Tanya, and their two children. He enjoys traveling (Italy is a favorite), wine tasting, concerts, and time at the beach—experiences that reinforce his belief that proper planning leads to freedom of: money, time, relationships and purpose.
Albert’s personal mission is simple: to provide clarity to people facing retirement decisions that will shape the rest of their lives.
